What is Art Basel Miami?
Art Basel Miami Beach is the American edition of the prestigious Art Basel fair, held annually the first week of December. The Miami Beach Convention Center becomes a temporary mecca for over 4,000 artists and 200 modern and contemporary galleries from across the world. Beyond the fair itself, the week brings satellite shows across Wynwood, the Design District, and Miami's beaches, plus parties and installations that turn the city into a week-long celebration of contemporary art.
