What is Rtveli?
Rtveli is Georgia's ancient grape harvest festival, a tradition stretching back over 8,000 years. Families gather to pick grapes, press them and ferment wine in clay qvevri vessels, celebrating with feasts, folk songs and toasts that honour the country's deep winemaking roots.
