WhatsApp greetings have a problem: the same six images get forwarded to every group on every birthday, every holiday, every anniversary. After the first three forwards, the image becomes invisible — your recipient doesn’t even see it.

Here’s how to send something that stands out.

Why the default greetings fail

They are stock. The “Happy Birthday cake with three candles” image has been shared so many times that no one associates it with you.
They are impersonal. They have nothing to do with the recipient, the relationship, or the occasion.
They are flat. No animation, no photo, no personality.

What works better

1. A poster with the recipient’s name

Most greeting apps (Dayfeed included) let you type the recipient’s name into a template. A “Happy Birthday, Mehmet” poster is 10x more personal than “Happy Birthday” with a stock photo.

2. Their photo, the greeting overlaid

3. A countdown or milestone poster

The receiving-side test

Ask yourself: would the recipient screenshot this and save it? If yes, it’s a good greeting. If no, it’s stock.
