Friend's Day (Día del Amigo) is a beloved Argentine celebration of friendship, when people fill cafés and homes to toast the bonds they share. It was inspired by the 1969 Apollo 11 Moon landing — dentist Enrique Febbraro saw humanity's shared achievement as proof friendship could unite the world. Officially recognized in 1979, it's now one of Argentina's most social days.
