What is ROK Alliance Day?
ROK Alliance Day celebrates the enduring partnership between the United States and the Republic of Korea. Anchored by the 1953 U.S.-ROK Mutual Defense Treaty, the alliance has grown beyond military cooperation to include economic, technological, and cultural exchanges. The day honors the veterans and shared values that hold the partnership together and the cooperation that addresses regional and global challenges.
