What is World Farm Animals Day?
World Farm Animals Day raises awareness of the conditions in which billions of farm animals live and the choices we make about the food we eat. Established in 1983 in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, who advocated respect for all living beings, the day invites people to consider plant-based meals, source animal products responsibly, and support charities working to improve farm animal welfare.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
